Conservancy's summer adventures will go 'From the Swamp to the Sea'
Campers are signing up now for the Conservancy of Southwest Florida's 2009 Eco-Camp, an award-winning summer day camp filled with nature-inspired lessons and activities June 8-Aug. 10. Separate dates and sessions are planned for kindergarten graduates and for children who have finished first and second grades, third and fourth grades, and grades five through eight. Full Story

Church plans free fishing at area parks
Volunteers from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Southwest Florida are organizing "Reel Fun-Real Friends," a free morning of fishing for children and adults with special needs, from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 25. The Collier event is at Sugden Regional Park; the Lee event takes place at Lakes Regional Park. Full Story
