Photographers invited to focus on ‘Camera USA’ competition

The Naples Art Association is seeking submissions for the exhibition “Camera USA: National Photography Award 2012.”

Photographers are invited to enter one photograph taken in the United State after Jan. 1, 2010, and must apply online at www.juriedartservices.com by March 22. The entry fee is $32 ($27 for NAA members).

A maximum of 50 photographs will be included in the exhibition, and accepted entrants will be notified on April 19. The $5,000 grand prize will be presented during the preview reception on Friday, June 1.

The exhibition will be open to the public in The von Liebig Art Center from June 4-Aug. 10.

Photographs for the exhibition and the award winner will be selected by Bradly Treadaway of the International Center of Photography in New York. The ICP serves more than 5,000 students each year and is one of the world’s most extensive and bestequipped schools of photography.

The “Camera USA: National Photography Award 2012” is sponsored by PNC Bank, Physicians Regional Healthcare System and the Naples Daily News. ARTMove LLC provides artwork shipping and receiving.
