Plant society has Garden dinner plans

The Naples chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society holds its annual banquet beginning at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24, at the Naples Botanical Garden. Guest speaker Loran Anderson, professor emeritus of biological science and former curator of the Godfrey Herbarium at Florida State University, will discuss “What is a Flower? (Gestalt Strategies Plants Employ).”
