Stock up on native plants at the Garden

The Naples chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society holds a native plant sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 10, at the Naples Botanical Garden. Shoppers will be able to purchase a wide selection of quality native plants from some of the area’s top native nurseries. Garden admission is not required for entry to plant sale.

The chapter holds its next regular meeting at 6:30 p.m. Monday, March 26, also at the Garden. Guest speaker Jean Roche’s discussion of “Spring in the Mojave Desert” will be accompanied by photos from her visits to the desert during three different “wet” springs covering the areas of Joshua Tree, Mission Creek, Death Valley, Coachella Valley and Anza Borrega.

All are welcome. Admission is free. For more information, call 643-7275, visit www.naplesfnps.org or e-mail broche1@comcast.net. ¦
