Mark your calendar for ‘Give Where You Live’

The Community Foundation of Collier County has designated the 24 hours between noon Tuesday, March 3, and 11:59 a.m. Wednesday, March 4, as a time to “Give Where You Live.” Built upon the idea that everyone can be a philanthropist, the project affords individuals a simplified means of supporting the education and human services efforts of 30 area nonprofits.

With a click of a mouse at Give- WhereYouLive30.org, anyone can contribute to one or all of the nonprofits that are participating in this inaugural effort.

The 30 nonprofits are: the Alzheimer’s Association-Florida Gulfcoast Chapter, American Red Cross-Florida Southern Gulf Region, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sun Coast, Boys & Girls Club of Collier County, Cancer Alliance of Naples, Care Club of Collier County, Collier Harvest Foundation, the Community Foundation of Collier County, the David Lawrence Foundation for Mental Health, Dental Outreach of Collier County, Champions For Learning, First Book Collier County, Florida Suncoast Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Fun Time Early Childhood Academy, Grace Place for Children & Families, the Greater Marco Family YMCA, the Greater Naples YMCA, Guadalupe Center, Habitat for Humanity of Collier County, the Harry Chapin Food Bank, Healthcare Network of Southwest Florida Foundation, Jewish Family & Community Services of Southwest Florida, Meals of Hope, Neighborhood Health Clinic, New Horizons of Southwest Florida, Salvation Army Naples Corps, Sports Club, St. Matthew’s House and The Shelter for Abused Women & Children. ¦
