Monday, Nov. 12, 4 p.m., join the Conservancy of Southwest Florida’s Good Fortune II boat in Rookery Bay for a sunset eco-cruise with food and beverages. $40; advance sign-up and payment required.

¦ The Naples Museum of Military History will host a Veterans Day event on Nov. 11, celebrating the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I. The museum will exhibit artifacts from WWI, including uniforms, insignias and patches, medals, weapons, framed art and a diorama of a trench battle. ¦ The Genealogical Society of Collier County will meet on Tuesday, Nov. 13, at its new location at Moorings Presbyterian Church, Moss Hall, 791 Harbour Drive, Naples. The parking and hall entrance are located in the back of the church. The program will be presented by David Nelson, who will discuss “Letter from Australia: November 1941,” about a young man who seeks information about his family in war-torn Europe. The names he mention set off a worldwide search for answers from Austria to Australia. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.; the program begins at 7. The meeting is free of charge and open to the public. ¦ Solo Singles of Collier County was organized more than 25 years ago to create and promote recreation, culture, charitable, and social activities for those persons single, divorced or widowed, as a means towards helping them achieve a fuller and better life socially, emotionally and intellectually.
