SCORE Naples presents “Building Your Brand” from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Sept. 12 at the Naples Accelerator, 3510 Kraft Road, Ste. 220, Naples. The workshop is designed to help you learn how to build your brand and help entrepreneurs understand the importance of a strong company brand vs. a company logo. Speaker Katelyn Cassio has nearly 20 years in the graphic design and marketing industries. For more than 50 years, SCORE has served as a source of free, confidential mentoring. Gulf Breeze Bop Club meets at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 13 and Sept. 27 at the Elks Lodge, 3231 Coconut Rd., Bonita Springs. The Naples IOWA Club invites friends and alumni of the University of Iowa to watch all the Hawkeye football games this year at Bone Hook Brewing Company, 1514 Immokalee Road, Naples. Friends of Rookery Bay will hold a special presentation, “Your Florida Panther,” from 5:30-7 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 18, at the Rookery Bay Environmental Learning Center, 300 Tower Road, Naples. Jessica Sutt, FWS wildlife refuge specialist, Florida panther and Ten Thousand Islands National Wildlife Refuges is the guest speaker. Light refreshments are provided by Friends of Rookery Bay. Naturalist Grub Club of Koreshan State Park will hold an informative presentation about butterflies from noon to 1 p.m. Sept. 18. Join a Florida master naturalist to discover the differences between moths and butterflies, butterfly development, plants that support butterflies, netting techniques, tagging and more. Bring your lunch. Naturalist Grub Club sessions are free with park entry fee: $5 per vehicle with 2-8 occupants, $4 per single-occupant vehicle, and $2 for pedestrians and bicyclists. Solo Singles of Collier County was organized more than 25 years ago to create and promote recreation, cultural, charitable and social activities for single, divorced or widowed men and women. Members meet at a different restaurant at 5 p.m. every Wednesday for happy hour followed by dinner. The PCBug Club meets at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 19, at the Naples Regional Library, Rees meeting room, 650 Central Ave. The featured speaker is Norbert “Bob” Gostischa, IT security expert and representative of Avast Antivirus, the global leader in cybersecurity products. Mr. Gostischa will address security issues including ransomware, data breaches, mobile malware and supply chain attacks, as well as sharing what he uses to keep his computers and smart devices secure. PCBug Club is a computer and technology club providing information and education on computers and mobile devices. Meetings are held on the third Thursday of the month. The Neighborhood Health Clinic, a volunteer-driven nonprofit organization providing Collier County’s working, uninsured residents affordable medical and dental care, will be the recipient of funds raised during a Neighborhood Health Clinic Evening from 5:30–7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 26, at Woodhouse Day Spa, 2059 9th Street N., Naples. All proceeds of the $20 ticket fee will be donated directly to the clinic. Activities include chances for spa services and merchandise; complimentary wine and hors d’oeuvres; and specials on all services booked during the event.
