¦ The Greater Naples YMCA holds its Holiday Christmas Concert, part of its annual support campaign, on Friday, Dec. 20 at the YMCA, 5450 YMCA Road, Naples. The evening features musician Paul Todd & Friends, the St. Agnes Catholic Church Choir, live nativity and Santa Claus. A VIP rooftop reception starts at 5:30 p.m. with wine and hors d’oeuvres, pictures with Santa Claus at 6 p.m. and the concert at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 for adults; $10 for children 12-17. ¦ The Naples Senior Center, a nonprofit organization that provides comprehensive programs and social services for seniors and their families, hosts its eighth annual “Evening for Better Tomorrows” at 6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, at the Royal Poinciana Golf Club, 1600 Solana Road in Naples. The “Motor City Magic: Memories of Motown,” event will feature cocktails and dinner followed by dancing with live music performed by Shadows of the ’60s, led by former Drifter and lead singer of the Persuasions, Dave Revels. ¦ Guadalupe Center holds its annual gala, “Be Flamazing,” which raises funds that directly support the center’s educational programs in Immokalee. Youth Haven, a nonprofit agency, is Collier County’s only residential emergency shelter for boys and girls ages 6-19 who have been removed from their homes due to abuse, neglect or abandonment. The event will feature Baroque music played on Trinity’s antique pipe organ, with strings from the Naples Philharmonic, followed by an outdoor waterfront concert of traditional New Orleans jazz, featuring Lew Del Gatto, saxophone, and Leroy Jones, trumpet.
