From the beginning, Naples Reserve has steadily drawn in buyers looking for laid-back, lakefront living and a community that stands out from other options in Southwest Florida. Buyers have responded to what they’ve seen with so much enthusiasm that iStar’s 688- acre community of Southern Coastal-inspired attached villa, single-family and custom estate homes ranks as the best-selling community in South Naples.

That high level of interest helped Naples Reserve reach an important milestone recently. The community’s Phase 1 is now 50 percent sold.

“The word is spreading about Naples Reserve,” said Heather Thompson, the community’s marketing manager. “Buyers want to secure their homesites and be a part of the casual lakefront lifestyle offered by this unique community.”

When he decided to relocate, David Geoffrey brought Naples Reserve to that 50-percent-sold mark. He’s been living at a golf course community in the Naples area, but wanted to downsize and decided Naples Reserve was the perfect place to do that.

“The community aesthetics are grand,” he said. “The entrance and the amenities they have at the clubhouse … The way it all presents itself is very pleasant and inviting.”

“The community is first class all the way, but very relaxed,” said Brian Ohlis, Geoffrey’s realtor.

He’s not the only one who’s found plenty to like at Naples Reserve. Many local Realtors are closing lots of sales at the community – and buying their own property there as well.

“It’s an ideal place to raise a family,” said Adam Weinstein, an agent at Fathom Realty in Naples who lives at Naples Reserve with his wife and three children. “We are truly living the vacation lifestyle. The community amenities are second to none.” He even helped his parents and aunt and uncle purchase homes there too.

Strong sales aren’t the only thing Naples Reserve is racking up. The community and the builders and designers working within it walked away with more than a dozen Sand Dollar Awards at the 2018 Collier Building Industry Association awards gala, including the prestigious Community of the Year ($500,000 to $1 million) Award.

“Being recognized by the CBIA is truly an honor,” said Thompson. “Winning Community of the Year is especially exciting, as it reinforces why so many buyers have already chosen Naples Reserve as the place they want to live in Collier County.”

Created amongst 22 lakes and sweeping open water views, Naples Reserve has a natural, tropical look, thanks to a landscaping plan that utilizes native, drought-resistant, low-maintenance plants in layered combinations of color and texture.

Located on the shores of the community’s centerpiece 125-acre Eagle Lake, the $7 million Island Club social center features a 5,160-square-foot clubhouse and an adjacent 3,500-square-foot fitness center with state-of-the-art equipment and a movement studio for spinning, Zumba and yoga classes. Outdoors, an expansive, resort-style zero-entry pool offers dedicated lap lanes and ample room for relaxation. Indoor and alfresco gathering areas at the Island Club include a lakeside fire pit and casual beverage and dining options at the Chat ‘n Chill Tiki Bar and Latitudes Cafe.

The numerous lakes at Naples Reserve provide opportunities for kayaking, canoeing and paddleboarding, and the Outrigger Center offers a variety of watercraft options available for residents’ use, including Hydrobikes. Cruises on the community’s two Duffy electric boats depart from the center’s floating docks, taking residents around Eagle Lake and to Kontiki Island, where they can gather under a tiki hut. Naples Reserve also offers homebuyers along Eagle Lake the opportunity for a personal floating boat dock.

Residents can partake in a little friendly competition at the lakefront Match Point complex on its five tennis and four pickleball courts. And for pet owners, the Walk & Wag dog park provides a place where residents and their four-legged friends can run and play together.

Navigating a loop road circling Naples Reserve, a two-mile linear park is designed to engage residents within their natural environment and provide an alternative mode of transportation throughout the community, including biking, hiking and jogging. Current plans underway include landscaping and exercise stations.

Still to come at Naples Reserve is an additional dog park, Paws Awhile, as well as a Kid’s Cove playground and picnic area.

In addition to all there is to do within the community, Naples Reserve residents also receive complimentary one-year social memberships at Walker’s Hideaway Marina of Naples, a yacht club along the Gordon River with a marina, indoor storage for 600 boats, two waterside restaurants, outdoor pool and sauna, and access to Naples Bay.

Naples Reserve offers 18 fully decorated models available for viewing, built by Southwest Florida’s premier homebuilders, including Ashton Woods, D.R. Horton, Florida Lifestyle Homes, KTS Homes, Lundstrom Development, Marvin Development, McGarvey Custom Homes and Stock Signature Homes. Homes are priced from the low $300,000s to more than $1 million.

Naples Reserve is located off U.S. 41, 2 miles southeast of the Collier Boulevard/ CR 951 intersection and 10 minutes from I-75, Exit 101. Visit the community at 14885 Naples Reserve Circle or online at www.naplesreserve.com. ¦
